Look Company, the organizer of the Miss Tanzania pageant, has unveiled the date for the grand finale which will decide who deserves to represent the country in this year’s Miss World.
Miss Tanzania Chairperson who also serves as the company Director, Basilla Mwanukuzi announced in Dar es Salaam over the weekend that the grand finale will be held on the August 23rd at the LAPF New Millenium Tower in Dar es Salaam.
The 1998 Miss Tanzania, Basilla unveiled that the grand finale will be held after the completion of the ongoing regional and zonal beauty contests which she claimed to be well staged in most of the zones.
“Preparations are going on steadily despite facing some few challenges since taking over the role to host Miss Tanzania Pageant last year. We have already staged successful events in five regions; Songwe, Simiyu, Kagera , Tanga and Shinyanga. These regions did not take part in the last previous events,” she added.
She further added that after the completion of regional and zonal competitions, the winners will pitch a three-week residential camp ahead of the August 23 final to pick the 2019 Miss Tanzania.
The winner will represent the country in this year Miss World finals scheduled to be staged in London, England.
And the organizers of Miss Tanzania , The Look Company has urged beauty pageant stakeholders and Tanzanians in general to support the lucky model who will be crowned 2019 Miss Tanzania through voting to ensure she performs well in the global level event.
“Miss World organizers have entered a venture with Mobstar App which will be utilized to vote for the models who will be contesting for the Miss World crown through the votes.
