Fastjet Tanzania has assured its clients that it was in a good position contrary to ignoring false information on the social media of running bankrupt.
The company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Nico Bezuiden-hout, said in a statement in Dar es Salaam yesterday that, “the company is in a good position and operates as usual.”
Mr. Bezuidenhout said, in the past 48 hours there has been a number of wrong posts mainly in social media noting the decline in Fastjet’s share price following the company’s announcement regarding its cash position.
“I would like to reassure all Fastjet passengers, the travel industry and our business partners that the company will continue to operate in a state of business as usual with a flight across our network in Tanzania, Mozambique, Zambia and South Africa.”
